BRS 2020 online meeting: free and open to the public!

All members of the society are invited to attend and to participate in the Bertrand Russell Society’s annual meeting this 20th June 2020. Given the unique opportunity posed by holding an online meeting, which brings our costs practically to $0, all members of the public are also invited to attend. Participating in the meeting is free, although we do ask folks to register in advance.

Meeting online is of course a new format for us, but we hope that it will allow greater participation as we accustom ourselves to the online world for meetings. This is in accordance with the mission of the Bertrand Russell Society, which aims (Bylaws, Article 2):

1. to promote interest in the life and work of Bertrand Russell;
2. to bring together persons interested in any aspect of the foregoing;
3. to promote causes that Russell championed.

Before the meeting we will send to all participants an email with a link to the online conference site, which will be accessible through an internet browser. To receive this link, register here. Paper presenters do not need to register in advance. The schedule of talks is given below.
