Prizes

The Bertrand Russell Society organizes four kinds of prize:

  • The Bertrand Russell Society Award, for activities that advance the Society’s aims
  • The Bertrand Russell Society Book Prize, for the best recently published book in Russell studies
  • The Lee Eisler Service Award, for longstanding and/or outstanding service to the Russell Society
  • The Bertrand Russell Society Student Essay Prize, for the best submitted essay by a graduate or undergraduate student.

These prizes are not necessarily awarded every year, and more than one can be awarded in a given year. For more information about each prize, and to see past recipients, we encourage you to visit the respective prize pages.
