The Bertrand Russell Society (BRS), an international organization of those interested in and dedicated to the philosopher Bertrand Russell’s life, works, and causes, will hold its annual meeting online via Zoom on Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19, 2021. This is in place of an on-ground meeting, made impossible due to the continuing covid-19 pandemic. If you are interested in presenting a paper at the BRS Annual Meeting, please submit an abstract through our website, at the following link: https://bertrandrussellsocietyorg.wordpress.com/submissions/
Special emphasis will be given to commemorating the 100th anniversary of Russell’s The Analysis of Mind. But we welcome papers on any aspect of Russell’s life as well as his thought, work, and legacy. We also welcome proposals for other activities that might be appropriate for the meeting (e.g., a master class on a work by Russell). The abstract should be no longer than two paragraphs. The deadline for submission is April 2, 2021.
There is a time limit of 20 minutes for presentation. An additional 10 minutes are allotted for discussion. Further details about the annual meeting (registration, etc.) will be posted at the Bertrand Russell Society website: https://bertrandrussellsocietyorg.wordpress.com/meetings
