Abstracts of papers for consideration for the Bertrand Russell Society’s 2026 annual meeting are to be made here. The deadline for paper submissions is May 15th, 2026 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard time.
Submission of full papers and/or abstracts longer than 1-to-2 paragraphs, or of any questions about the conference and/or paper submissions, should be sent by email to Andy Bone at russjour@mcmaster.ca.
The conference will begin on Thursday 11 June with a social and buffet dinner event outside the Bertrand Russell Research Centre at McMaster University (courtesy of the McMaster University Library). Talks will occur on Friday – Saturday, June 12 and 13. The Board meeting and Membership meetings will probably take place on the Friday and/or Saturday as well. There will be a banquet on the Friday evening at the Phoenix restaurant/bar on the McMaster campus. There may be a charge for the banquet separate from the registration fee, which is still TBD. More details to follow as and when they become known.
